Guidelines and Rules Regarding Photographs

We encourage submission of photographs of parish-related activities but there are some guidelines and rules to be followed:

1. Photographs color and digital format are preferred. The cannot be less than 150 DPI.

2. When a person's face and features are clearly viewable, we should have permission of the person (or persons) to use and publish their likeness.

3. A standard Photographic Release Form may be downloaded from this website. (See below.)

4. For persons under the age of 18 years, we are legally required to have a  Photographic Release Form signed by their parent or legal guardian.

5. Photographs may be emailed as attachments to: editor@scsnewsletter.com

6. Please be sure to indicate the name, location and date of the event to which the photo refers.

7. Photos of groups of people where individual faces and features are not clearly desirnable will not require a signed Photographic Release Form.
