Seminar Outline:
8:30AM - All are welcome and encouraged to attend the Holy Mass.
9.30AM - Apologetics for the Scripturally-Challenged
Basic apologetics strategies and techniques anyone can use to engage in evangelization and
apologetics. You won't need to be afraid of talking to anyone about the Bible and the Catholic Faith,
plus, "12 Questions for Protestants”.
10:30AM - Sacraments and the Bible
Gives the biblical foundations for the Catholic teaching on Baptism, Confession, and the Eucharist.
How the Bible supports Catholic teaching on all three of these and why Protestant teaching
on these Sacraments just doesn't stand up to serious Scriptural scrutiny.
11:30 AM - Lunch
Buffet, beverages and desserts provided by our Knights of Columbus.
Your $5.00 donation will be received in Herbert Hall. (School building behind main Church).
12:30 PM - One Church
Have you ever heard someone say that it doesn't matter which Church you go to...as long as it's Christian?
John Martognoni shows why this attitude is not logical and is not biblical. He will show, from the Bible, that
Jesus did not intend for there to be 36,000+ churches and denominational groups - that there is one, and
only one, Church.
1:30 PM - OPEN FOR QUESTIONS
John will answer your questions.
ALL ATTENDEES WILL RECEIVE:
1. A listing of Scriptural Proofs in defense of Catholic teachings.
2. A comparison of Catholic versus Protestant Teachings.
3. An invitation to sign-up for ongoing Faith Enrichment/Apologetic classes led by
Deacon David Grubbs every Wednesday evening at St. Catherine’s. A convert,
himself, he has been helping our parishioners to understand and explain the Faith
for more than 17 years.
